Sickness worsening @ 13 Weeks
Has anyone experienced morning sickness worsening as they close up the first trimester?
Ive had relatively bad nausea since week 6, and I’ve been managing it with Xonvea (although it’s not stopped the evening vomiting 👍🏼). I know it could be worse, so I am grateful! The past few days I’ve noticed the nausea increasing despite continuing the meds. I’d love to hear other’s experiences? I am SO DONE with this trimester & hoping for a new me when I wake up in trimester 2 tomorrow 🫣

Yes unfortunately I had this with my first, the worst sickness for me was between 10-16 weeks then it finally calmed down by 20 weeks. It is awful so I really hope you can find some parts of nausea free time in between & hope it settles for you soon 🤞
Mine was AWFUL 10-27ish weeks, it would come in waves, it started to go away around 20 weeks. Weirdly enough, McDonalds coke and fries when it got real bad.
It’s a myth that sickness stops after the first trimester! From experience it seems like if you have quite bad sickness (actual vomiting) then it does go until middle of second trimester. I only started feeling better around week 22 but one friend vomited all the way through her pregnancy. I think that’s rare though
Just wanted to say I had the worst nausea and sickness with my second baby. I thought it was bad the first time but no no no.
I was sick pretty much until the end and struggled to eat proper food until 24ish weeks.
I have my 3 month old on my chest and she was worth every second of nausea! I would do it all again to have her, despite telling my partner several times that we are never ever doing this again.

I was hoping for the second trimester magic but it got worse for me too 😞 I tried cyclizine for 3 weeks, didn’t help. Then Metoclopramide for a couple of days - but had severe side effects and needed to stop. Don’t know what to do now
