My car was running fine then went to a garage to have it's MOT and service carried.out. They replaced a couple of the tyres, the reversing light and a few other bits.
After about 5-10 minutes of driving after collecting it, it started to lose power and gradually stopped in the middle of the road. As it's an automatic, I put it into park to restart it, and it then got stuck in park and the key got stuck in the ignition. The engine warning light also came on.
I had to be recovered and the garage refused to take it, as "it sounds like a gearbox issue which we don't deal with". I can't help but feel this is too much of a coincidence when I've had the car for about 18 months with no issues?!

Did you go into the garage on your own? They’re actually known for doing this kind of thing to women to exploit them, it’s gross. I always make my partner or grandad to take my car in and funnily enough there’s never any issues anymore 🤔

This recently happened to me but it was a auto body shop that was repairing a panel from auto accident got car back Friday night by Sunday all check engine lights were on 😩
