Ear piercing gun vs needle

My daughter had her’s pierced at Claire’s. They use the gun method. I took her there bc that’s where I’ve always gone for mine. We didn’t have any issues ❤️

Apparently needle is better as it’s said it’s less trauma to the ear. However we took our daughter to a baby piercing shop at the pharmacy & they used a gun- we didn’t have any issues either

Thanks both. I took my baby to a local pharmacy today and they used the gun. Of course she cried for a few minutes but she's full of beans again with no issues. The piercing looks great!
