First time mums vs non-ftm

Am I the only one who’s experienced animosity or a ‘know it all’ mentality from non-first time mums?
We get it, you’ve done this before but this is my first time, let me experience things how I want to without your judgements. I appreciate people who give me genuine advise but most of you are giving bitter & bothered 😩 what’s wrong?

I agree! I've had different experiences with different people but the two that get on my nerves the most are my boyfriends mom and grandma, some advice they give me is helpful, other times they try to overstep and undermine my parenting and try to take over, like chill out I've got this, one way or another lol.. I'm not going to do everything you think I should do, I'm going to trust my gut and do what I think I should be doing as a mom for MY child. They just get on my nerves so bad his mom took over my baby shower completely, only played games she wanted to, she started games and activities without telling me and left me out, told me what to do at my own shower, she took over my gender reveal, wanted to do football themed and she decided to do a boxing theme. his grandma tried to open gifts for us at the baby shower like I can't w these ppl I swear, we are capable of making our own decisions.

It’s so annoying! and as you should! Trust your motherly intuition, there’s no one else on this planet that will have your child’s best interest like you do!
Try and get your boyfriend to speak to them if they’ll listen but honestly it gets on my nerves when people start overstepping!
Wish you the best doll xx
