Is it normal for an 8 month old to 💩 every time she goes into her car seat? We usually just go on short trips which by the time we arrive where we need to go, there’s guaranteed a 💩 in there.
The other day we went on an hours drive to go shopping with a friend, 💩 on arrival as expected, we drove about a mile away from where we were and there was another one, when we drove back to my friends house and yep.. there was another one. Finally got home and yep, another one! 😂 she usually does one or two a day. What’s going on? 😂

Maybe just good positioning and movement for bowel opening? 😂 We have a Joie swing seat for baby, he pooped EVERY time he sat in it when he was a newborn. So when he was constipated we’d say ‘right, get him in the poop swing’ 😂😂

Probably the car vibrations! 🤣

Probably the positioning. I personally start potty training my baby from 3 months onward. He is now 8months and he gave me a good one this morning in the toilet before we left home. So no poops in the car seat.

Haha my little one did this for MONTHS, most car trips from about 4 months old. She does it less now on solids but still does it often

My 8 month old poos almost every car trip too and it almost always leaks 🤣🥲 I always wonder why when I arrive to baby group it’s always only my baby that consistently has a poonami every week 🤣🙄

I joke my little one just wants to try the baby changing facilities every where we go as he does this

My first baby did this, half the time was within 5-10 minutes of being in the car seat 😭😂

YESSS 😂 Hard relate, and anytime I’ve mentioned it to friends they have been so confused and said their babies haven’t done the same lol
I’ve started sitting in the car in an old babygrow with the engine on for 5 mins to get her to go, then bringing her inside to change her and then leaving… It’s more effort everytime we go anywhere, but it saves the blowouts on her proper clothes and while driving 😂

My girl is exactly the same!!

So I took him to the GP today about something unrelated but did ask about the reflux. He prescribed Gaviscon! So fingers crossed that eases it up a bit!
