Newborn rash or not

My son is 9 weeks old and he's got clusters of rash on his scalp, cheeks, eyebrow, hand and tummy. Initially we were informed it could be the newborn rash but it's not resolving but rather spreading( it started on his forehead, then cheeks and eyebrow and so on). Not sure what to do about it. Any advice please?

Looks to me like the start of cradle cap! Keep to moisturized but if it gets red it’s a rash, cradle cap is usually just super scaly skin

My daughter had the exact same thing pop up at about 6 weeks. It was craddle cap. It was worst on her forehead and her eyebrows- she had crusty eyebrows for about 2 weeks.
Still working through the craddle cap on her head 3 weeks later but almond oil and coconut oil is working wonders.

Cradle cap or eczema, but more likely cradle cap. They make soft bristle brushes for babies that you can use in the shower to gently exfoliate the flakes. We also used Bio Oil to clear up our son's.

For his head amd eyebrows rubbing breastmilk can help. I don't know the science of it but it does work. Babies often have random rashes that can last for a while and they then grow out of it. Aveeno dermexa range really help me and my mum made a concotiom of sheabutter with something else i wish I new which also worked.

I have consistently used the aveeno dermexa range it keeps it at bay. But every child is different. Try and avoid steriod creams for now I would say.
