I thought I had eczema and even one doctor said there is an eczema that has borders like it but now I’m thinking it might be ringworm

Yep I have. I thought it was eczema but it is unusual for me to get it there and that bad so got checked and yep ringworm. If I remember right I had to use a certain cream and cleared it up pretty quick but I was like 18 when I had it so it was a few years ago 😅 (35 now)

There is a special ring worm cream you can buy otc from the pharmacy, I can't remember the name of it but if you ask for it you can purchase it directly without a gp prescription from what I remember application is something like twice daily on clean skin for two weeks, but saying this there are different types of worm, either ring or fungal types

You can get it from children or from even gardening.
You can get a cream over the counter from a pharmacy. Typically a antifungal cream, and you can get a topical steroid too to help itching. It goes away pretty quickly once you start treatment you just have to carry on using the cream for a week after it’s cleared

Ringworm isn’t that big of a deal, just get some yeast infection cream or athletes foot spray & use it several times a day until it’s gone for a week. It’s my dog we get it from, he’s a flat coat mix, always swimming in the pond & digging up moles.🤷🏻♀️
BUT, I also get those eczema rings, I can usually tell bc those are usually about the size of a pencil eraser on me & I can usually attack them with lots of lotion & get them fading fast & the ringworm yeast infection is usually about the size of a quarter & darker & a different type of scaly, hard to explain/remember exactly, but they do feel different.

Idk how long you’ve had it but like other have said there is otc cream. I used the one for athletes foot and it went away in a week. I did have a more serious case before since at one point I was sharing one bathroom with6 other people in a very poor ventilated bathroom. I did have to get a prescription for a cream and I didn’t know it was ring worm for 2 months since everyone told me it was an eczema flare till I saw a dermatologist.
