Hi ladies, just a heads up really. I had my first baby last week (omg this new born bubble is amazing!). However, when I called the hospital about my contractions they were very dismissive as I had only had contractions for an hour and it was my first time. Even though I was explaining the intensity and frequency of them.
Anyway in the end I trusted my gut and went to hospital anyway. Sure enough baby arrived within one hour of being there.
The midwives we're all incredible! So this is noway a moan as I'm sure most of the time they're right.
But if you feel baby is coming, it's your body! You know best. The worst that can happen is you get sent home ❤️❤️

Im getting all the early signs but still no strong contractions. I get on and off cramping thats about it really. Im just ready to meet my baby girl now. She's so close to coming but just not making her appearance 😅

Firstly, congrats lovely and enjoy that newborn bubble! My first wasn’t as quick as you, but he was here within 4 hours and midwives were shocked at how fast I was progressing, so absolutely trust your body and gut! Also if you have more kids prepare for a quicker birth.. I just had my second and he was here after an hour 🫣 x

1000% agree this is my second time and they still kept dismissing me 3 times until I got to hospital and was 5cm already with no waters and was too late for epidural so ended up doing it all unmedicated which in the end was a disaster really because I ended up with a c section because he got stuck 🤣

They kept saying take a paracetamol and have a bath 🤣
