So I am officially a year postpartum, and my back has been hurting me so much, but it feels like it’s not muscular. It feels like it’s My spine. I have a feeling it has to do with the epidural that I got, which honestly I regret getting because I didn’t even want it in the first place but the hospital kind of scared me into getting it. Anyways, that’s beside the point. What are you mamas doing for back pain? Because I feel like it’s just getting worse for me, and I have to do some thing about it.

Oh man, sounds horrible 🥺 have you tried PEMF? I’ve got at home devices and it’s amazing for pain & muscle relief

Oh it’s amazing. I use it regularly. Feel free to dm me if you want to know details and don’t want to chat here!

I had similar pain after my second. It did sort of get better after I was spending less time bf and putting kids to sleep in my arms, but it's still difficult to stand for long periods without it acting up. It makes me feel so old, haha

Seems to be quite common after spinal/epidurals. Me and a few friends all have the same issue!

I would just suggest going to pelvic floor therapy. Pregnancy changes our posture and significantly impacts our muscles. Breastfeeding as well can weaken muscles. Another suggest I have if you dont have the means for pt would be a weighted vest. Start slow and light but it was the first thing that started making a difference in pain. It strengthened back and core to alleviate my pain.

When my back hurts exercise helps me. Making it stronger is what helps
Maybe try acupuncture for the epidural pain also could help

happened to me im 3months pp waiting for an mri after 2 failed epidurals but nhs does not want to admit it and keeps telling me to exercise when i physically cannot because it makes the pain much worse than it already is and also they wont give me the pain meds because i can become 'addicted' so i'm stuck in pain until i get an mri at a specialist clinic
