Cold hands and feet

My little boy is poorly atm. He is teething and has a really bad cold. He has had a fever too.
He was really hot last night and was soaking wet but no fever then all day today He has been warm but hands and feet are freezing!!

Dr's havent really put my mind at ease tbh they said it could be cause he is unwell.
And ive done the worst thing and googled it lol

Has anyone else's child had this?? Its really worrying me

My wee girl wasn’t well last week and I had to bring her to the gp, they told me to just continue with calpol, she wasn’t eating or drinking much only taking some milk, I gave her calpol in the day and then neurofen before she went to bed, took her about a week or so to get back to herself

Her hands and feet are usually cold anyways so I passed no remarks but she did have a high temperature

Most babies hands and feet are usually cold anyway even if their bodies are warm! My little girl was poorly last week, as long as they have 4-6 wet nappies a day then there hydrated! If they aren’t, use a calpol syringe and put water in his mouth yourself! My little girl ended up with Scarlett fever it was atrocious, only took two hospital admissions and her fainting for them to believe me with how poorly she was

I actually get this myself if I'm not 100%. It usually goes after a couple of days but if you're concerned call your GP

Hands and feet can go cold as the body takes the blood flowing from them to help vital organs when they’re unwell so it’s perfectly normal just keep giving calpol and nurofen to manage the temperature xxx

My son has a cold majority of the time but even when he doesn’t his hands and feet are a lot colder than they used to be majority of the time apparently it happens around this age as their circulation is changing so it might just be because of that and not necessarily because of the cold x
