Does this look normal??

I have been back and forth SO many times for my little girl and haven’t gotten anywhere as of yet, we had to contact pals at the hospital to overlook the whole situation, she had chronic diarhea for around 2 months, Aswell as random projectile vomiting, unexplained fevers/illnesses which was before and still up to now, has good days and other days looks so so drained, and she’s now loosing weight she dropped down on the Friday and by Sunday dropped another 0.4 she now weighs 8kg at 10 months old. I am very worried I’m not sure what it could be as of yet but one worry I have is neuroblastoma and I really want it ruling out!

Yes, the tummy looks a bit swollen. But there could be different causes. Have they run any blood tests?

Is she breastfed or formula fed?

Get checked again how have they not done anything if she’s been ill for a couple of months 🫣 bless her

Don’t give up, have her checked again. Do you breastfeed? Or formula ? What color is her poo?

Did they tell you what is ruled out?

This is very distressing, and I'm so sorry for your and your baby for what you're both going through.

It is best is to chase up the referal. Call to ask about waiting times and you could also contact your health visitor to help you solve any questions you have regarding the test results. HV can email Drs.

Once you have more information, consider getting a private appointment with a specialist. Once they order some tests, you can go back to your GP and share with them the advice you got and that also speeds up any investigation.
