currently in labour , IT HURTS DAMN but i’m so bored at the same time , why am i shivering, do i have a temperature? or am i nervous? tips for labour please ( this is my first baby )

Try to move as much as possible, using a birthing ball was crucial for me. Do you have a doula you can reach out to? I used a doula and asked her all sorts of questions. If not, the hospital or nurse hotline can be helpful for questions too.

The shivering is due to he hormones being all over the place.

thankyou ladies the moving about has helped contractions come along very well, currently at 3CM so hoping i can reach 4cm by 7am i’m already exhausted

Don't focus on dilation or you'll just be disappointed if you don't reach that by a certain time...it means nothing for time frames anyway! Focus on breathing out and relaxing your jaw through each contraction and visualising downward motion. Are you at home? You can also use a hot water bottle or get your partner to use counter pressure

thank you! he arrived yesterday at 4:15 PM i shot from 4CM to 10CM in under 2 hrs on the hormone drip never felt pain like that in my life, were still here as he has high haemoglobin x
