Why are hospitals and doctors practices SO HOT ??
I'm sure they have a reason to have the heat on full blast (I can understand the maternity ward is kept warm for the babies), but oh my god, i went for a routine midwife appointment at the GP this afternoon and was sweating my ass off waiting in the waiting room, it was actually so embarrassing, sweat dripping on my forehead, scared to stand up incase I left sweat patches on the chair. I had to take my glasses off because they were steaming up š
I'm not someone who typically runs hot or sweats a lot, but I know its common in pregnancy, and I'm in the 3rd trimester so I'll be warmer than usual, but omg please turn the heat down š„²š„²š„²

Yep this happened to me a few weeks ago when I was up the hospital too! I practically drip with sweat if I even walk down the bloody road at this point, have to have the fan on at all timesšxx
I bring my own ice packs like a weirdo š¤·š»āāļø

Usually because other patients might have to get undressed. My kidās pediatrician is always super hot because all the babies have to be naked. I used to work at a dermatologist and most patients needed full body mapping so they had to be naked.
I was told once that itās to help with healing of patients and to help the elderly when they arenāt moving much. š¤·š¼āāļø

Itās kept at a consistent 22Ā°C whatās that like 71.6Ā°. And I initially thought you meant āattractiveā hot and I was gonna comment yes my chiro dude is young and hot LMAO
I started bringing my own little handheld fan (like the ones you put on a baby's car seat or crib) because my doctors office was also always hot as balls lol
Undressed people and old people get cold easily lol. Or a lot of really sick people have a hard time regulating body temperature.
