Has anyone had a follow up appointment 1 week after a miscarriage?

I miscarried a week ago and my gynecologist wants to see me tomorrow for a follow up. This is my third miscarriage and for the last two, he saw me 3 weeks after. Im just anxious and wondering why he might want to see me sooner this time.

It might be something harmless like he’s going on vacation the following week and rather see you before than make you wait until he’s back in office.

Did they say they will give you an ultrasound?
To check if all the pregnancy tissue has been discharged.

3 weeks after? That's a long time.
1 week after is a good thing. It's making sure everything is okay and your uterus is going back to normal. Also making sure you don't end up with any infections.
