Resources needed ASAP
I’m located in Wisconsin, to keep a long story short - my 2 month old daughter’s dad choked me while I was holding her 2 nights ago. I called the cops and he went to jail.. but the house is his and we aren’t married. I can’t stay there anymore.. I’m trying to pack up what I can to go stay at my moms for a little while, I’m going back to work in 2 weeks but I have no savings… and I need a more permanent place to go as my mom doesn’t have enough room for both of my daughters and myself for anything long-term…

I'm not sure what part of Wisconsin you live in but you can contact 211 for resources. I also recommend reaching out to your local women's shelter and connecting with an abuse advocate. If you need help with your specific area feel free to message me and I will do what I can to help.
Call your county human services department and explain your situation. They should be able to point you in the right direction for resources. The number for Waupaca County is 715-258-6300. Otherwise the 211 number someone recommended is a good starting place as well.
