Not my type of music, but I’ve been taking him to state fairs and carnivals and concerts and Latin street festivals since he was 4m. So I’ve been to other music festivals w my baby that’s more my jam. We went to the Royal state show when he was 3m, PAX gaming expo at 5m, and his first Latin fest (I go every year, with or without my fam sometimes just w friends) when he was 8m, there’s 3 big ones that happen in my city every year. I prefer Latin and Afrobeats type concerts/festivals. Baby wearing is your best bet if baby is under 6m that’s what we did as some are shoulder-to-shoulder (or it’s on grass) and it’s impossible to push a pram. Also, ear muffs. Aside from that, go have fun mama!!!

I'm giving Bloodstock a miss this year as the lineup was rubbish. Been going every year (sometimes twice) since 2005. I'm doing Summer Breeze instead, and we've been really lucky and managed to get the grandparents and aunty to share her (20m) out for a week. I wouldn't ever take her to a festival, because I can never get her to wear ear defenders. She just tears them off, so it's too dangerous for her ears right now.
