Second baby
Is this anyone’s second baby? I’m finding it so hard with my newborn and 2 year old. Mainly because my newborn has reflux and I can only put him down over 30 mins after he’s had milk. Even then sometimes he’s sick and wakes up crying. So whilst I’m feeding him, burping, holding upright… I can’t do anything for my toddler. Even to brush my teeth I can’t lay him down for a few mins without him crying all the way through and being sick. When I drop my toddler offf to nursery sometimes my my newborn is sick in the car seat too :(

It's about the same for me too, mine basically won't sleep lying flat even if I burp him as much as I can, so I am in the same boat and struggle to play with my 3 year old. Have you got a bouncer? Even though he's still a bit sicky in it sometimes I've found that helps a lot as I can at least put him down for 5 mins here and there and rock him with my foot when I'm helping my toddler.
Could have written this myself! I also have a 2 year old, and my newborn has reflux aswell. I can’t put her down in the day at all really, luckily at night she lies down fine and is rarely sick! But in the day it’s a different story. Luckily my partner is still currently around to look after my toddler but I do feel very guilty about it all as he’s doing the housework and cooking aswell as I’m just a bit trapped at the moment. Hoping it will get better soon
I’ve found using a baby monitor helps. I put him down after a feed and he usually sleeps and then I go downstairs with my Toddler.
