Did you get your son circumcised for non religious reasons? If you got it done for cleanliness reasons I genuinely think you're dirty and unable to keep a child clean 🤢

I didn’t get my son circumcised I find it weird doing that to a baby

I didn’t because God made them that way. If he wanted it to be similar to when the covenant still needed to be done then he would’ve changed them but he didn’t. We no longer need to keep the old covenant either. They lose feeling when getting circumcised as well. I also was scared for it to stick to the diaper when changing him. At the end I gave dad the choice but thankfully he sided with me.

I think cleanliness actually comes more into play with old men. They get dementia or very overweight and forget/can’t clean as well and come into the hospital with infections or unrelated stuff but when doing bed baths it becomes clear the foreskin has not been cleaned in a while. It’s very sad honestly

My children are all intact.

My husband is and did want our son to be circumcised but he said if I wasn’t onboard it wouldn’t happen.
As it wasn’t a yes from both of us, it’s not happened.

We did it because my son’s father insisted it would be necessary and a good idea. Not having a penis myself, and also of the mindset that men shouldn’t make decisions about women’s bodies, I deferred to his judgment on this one.

My mum had both my brothers done but theirs was due to a medical reason called hypospadias.
It’s where the urinary opening forms on the underside rather than the tip of the penis.
So it doesn’t always come down to just having it done for religious purposes or cleanliness
