My baby girl took her first steps last night (yaaaayyyy!!!!) but now I feel a personal conundrum. I've been separated from her dad since September, we go to court for custody/divorce in June. It's been...a complicated situation to say the least. He sees her twice a week with supervision currently. But now I'm not sure if/how I should share that our daughter is walking. Like he needs to know, and he'll find out when he sees her in a couple days, but I feel like I should tell him but also like it would be hurtful to share since he's not here to experience it first hand...idk 🫠 any advice welcome and appreciated. I know it's ultimately my decision based on the specifics of my situation but I just want some ideas or something I guess lol.

I feel like it would be better coming from you to share things good or bad immediately cause that shows that you are trying to have open communication and work with him as a coparent that's what you know courts would like to see. But it's awesome that she's walking and I'll pray for you all to work things out the best way for your lives. :)
