Does failing the 1hr glucose test mean gestational diabetes?

I was told at the lab my levels came up high. I have hypoglycemia and I notice I’m low on sugar levels when I get very sleepy and am rested. After drinking that orange thing, like 10-15min after I felt I was getting sleepy. I thought it was the crash after the loads of sugar from that drink (normal to hypoglycemia) but then they checked ny urine sample and sha said it was high. That they were waiting to run the testing on the blood sample after to be sure of more details they could share later. Does that mean I’m likely to have gestational diabetes? I’m nervous 🥺

Not necessarily. They are going to have you do a three hour test to see if you pass that one. Just make sure you watch what you eat and drink mainly water before taking these tests. I think you will have to fast though if they make you do the three hour test.

These tests are so weird. I had to fast for my “1 hour” test which was actually 2 hours bc they checked my blood at one hour and at two hours. They didn’t tell me my results. They said if I get a call the next day, that means I failed. Never got a call but I don’t trust that anyway lol. And they never checked my pee.

Is this normal?

I am 14 w 5d and I still have not gained any weight and have minimal appetite. I am able to have snacks or small meals, so I’m not losing weight, but I am worried that I haven’t started gaining weight yet. I have so much anxiety all the time about what if my baby isn’t developing right or isn’t alright and I just don’t know it yet?

Winging it

I feel like people out there have so many opinions about what they should and shouldn't be doing with their baby. Tummy time, screen time, floor time, reading, naps. Meanwhile I'm over here like no idea what I'm doing just trying to get through the day!! 👀 Who's with me?

Blood pressure

Hi any mommas that have dealt with high BP during pregnancy? What did you do to help it? Did you have any symptoms? I personally don’t unless I’m that anxious and that’s why it keeps reading high but I do try to be as relaxed as possible I was on high BP medication when I was pregnant but I had to stop bc it wasn’t safe for baby. Please help a mama out I’m trying to see if any food or maybe work outs help me. Maintain also be stress free

1 hour glucose

So i just failed my one hour glucose test with a 179, and im pretty sad and stressed out about it. Can people share positive stories about how they failed their 1 hour but passed the 3 hour? 😞 please and thank you💙
