Where are my memoir lovers? đź’•
I’m in the middle of You With The Sad Eyes by Christina Applegate. It’s pretty heartbreaking, some of the things she experienced. I don’t know if I’d recommend it but will wait til the end and see.
Looking for other memoirs read after. Especially stories about motherhood (or daughterhood).

I really enjoyed Matriarch by Tina Knowles!

Bread Of Angels Pattie Smith

I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy
About to start Anthony Hopkins memoir. Pretty excited for that one

A Heart That Works by Rob Delaney is really good but so so sad.

I really enjoyed Jessica Simpson’s memoir. I listened to it and she’s the narrator. I have such a different outlook on her now and had no idea what she went through as a child, in her first marriage or her struggle with alcoholism which was from childhood trauma. She talks about having her kids but doesn’t go into a ton of detail, I’m assuming to protect their privacy. But it was a good listen 🎧
