My little family is going through it rn, my toddler has RSV and she’s also teething so she definitely isn’t a happy camper rn… and I’m trying to care for her and my 7 week old without getting him sick , it’s so hard! She just wants cuddles and I can’t even do that cause I don’t wanna get my little baby sick cause RSV can be more serious for him😩and now my throat is starting to hurt so I’m afraid I’m getting sick now .. and I got the IUD last Thursday and the last couple days my bleeding has been so heavy and I have cramps that hurt so bad, feels like I’m on my period but 10x worse… the stuff I go through to avoid getting pregnant again😑 we have been giving my toddler Pedialyte, an alternating Tylenol and ibuprofen. Is there anything else that we can give her to help her? Cause she doesn’t just have one tooth coming in she has two. i’m just praying that my seven week old does not catch what my daughter has, he’s breast-fed so if I get sick that’s gonna be really bad… I do have milk frozen in the freezer but my fiancé works so I’ll still have to feed him I can’t just have my fiancé care for him. And to add to all this craziness, I was supposed to start work back up this week but obviously couldn’t cause my toddler caught RSV , I feel like God is just trying to tell me that it’s not my time yet and I need to spend more time with my kids and enjoy this break since I worked through both my pregnancies up to the day I gave birth to both my babies and the sh$t I’ve been through just within the last 18 months. I just wish the circumstances were different, if it was just a cold she had it would be different but the fact that it’s RSV scares me cause that could really affect my newborn😵💫

Youre doing great momma. My newborn got rsv from my toddler 3 years ago when when he was jist 10 days old and spent 4 days in the hospital. Youre doing the best you can and sometimes even when you are doing the most cautious stuff, your newborn can still get sick. The best thing if you get sick is the antibodies for the baby in the breast milk. You got this

From my understanding the best thing to do is keep him on your boob so he's getting antibodies from you. If he does end up sick it will help it be less severe and he should get better quicker. Hang in there.

Even if you get sick keep breastfeeding. Your body literally makes antibodies for your baby so the best thing to do is keep nursing. Just be cautious of what medicines you take
