Friends wedding abroad
Hi! Second pregnancy here. My friend is getting married in some remote location in Spain in June. She's really chasing me to know my plans, when I'm arriving, etc. But I haven't told anyone I'm pregnant (just 8 weeks, due end of October),and I don't want to tell anyone yet. But I don't know whether I want to go to her wedding, until I've spoken to my midwife and know whether this is a high risk pregnancy or not (last one ended with preeclampsia and disastrous birth too). I don't know whether I'm being a bit overcautious, but I'm so not keen to go on my own, pregnant, with a toddler. And how to respond in the meantime, without saying "I'm pregnant". If anyone has any ideas, let me know!

If you don't want to go, don't. Destination weddings mean invited guests won't all be able to come and your circumstances have changed. I've been forced to tell lots of people about my pregnancy because i was put at risk of redundancy and I seriously resent having to tell my work and subsequently my friends and family. Don't tell before you're ready to, this is your news to share when you're ready.
