Not sleeping in crib at night.

Just wondering if anyone can help me out here.
My little guy is 6 months old and has two teeth FULLY grown through. He has about four naps a day and sleeps in his crib for almost every single one, but when it comes to bed time every single time without fail as soon as I get in bed and start to fall asleep he’s crying. I go get him out of the crib to sit and feed him, he goes back to sleep. As SOON as he hits the crib again he cries and no matter what I do or give him he won’t go back to sleep unless I put him in bed with me which I don’t wanna keep doing. Doesn’t matter if I put him down and go to sleep immediately after or 2 hours later as soon as my eyes start to close he’s up and refuses to sleep on his own. It’s getting a little frustrating and very draining.
TIA

I did sleep training, letting them only cry ut out for a healthy amount of time. 10 minutes the first night, 15 the second night, 15 on the third night. It took 4 nights and he's been sleeping on his own ever since. It's a really hard thing to do
