Nuby rapid cool
Anyone using the nuby rapid cool?
Just bought one and dunno how I feel about it (not used it yet) how are yous cleaning it? I’ve put the base in the steamer but the lid says it can’t go in there…I have bought the Nuby UV steriliser which is made for the rapid cool but NHS advises against UV sterilisation?

Used it with my first 2 years ago and using it again now. We don’t put formula in it, we do the hot shot method, so about 1oz of boiling water in the bottle and add the formula to that, mix it together. The remainder of the water goes in the rapid cool and then added to the bottle so I don’t clean it everyday, every few days or once a week I clean it and put it in the UV steriliser. I definitely could be doing it wrong🤷♀️ but it only has boiling water in so I just make sure the lid stays off for a little sometimes too to dry it out. I only saw recently that UV Sterilisers aren’t recommended! Can’t believe I never knew, we had one with my first and no HVs ever said anything so got one again. Luckily we have the MAM bottles that can just be done in the microwave.
