Dictating, Control, unreasonable
Is anyone else having trouble with their two year-old wanting to dictate everything? I try to give choice as much as possible to give him that need for control but some times he is so unreasonable- like demanding that I hold my four month old and not my husband to the point he will sit and cry and say it over and over for 30 minutes. Or not eating dinner and crying because he didn’t get the plate he wanted which was my plate of dinner. I feel like my patience is gone all the time and I don’t know what to do to get him to stop.

My daughter does this all the time. Acting like her sister is supposed to be eating certain foods or she wants something super specific.
I think it's a part of their independence phase. I think it's normal. Sorry no advice on how to fix it. 🫤
