Housing assistance

How can I get housing assistance without putting the dad on child support? For context i live in Atlantic County specifically. I start my new job in a few weeks so I’ll be able to cover at least half of the rent. However rent is so high for me to foot entirely on my own so im seeking information on any programs out there that can help me? Please no judgement, I could be going about this the wrong way

If you apply for government assistance, they will put him on child support. Sadly I don’t think that’s something you can control.

i’ve never heard of this before , it should just be you able to sign up whenever they open a waiting list. Try to call around and do research. I live in monmouth county so maybe its different
