Has anyone figured out how to go to the bathroom alone yet? Because I would really enjoy just sitting in silence for two minutes without convincing my two year old to not flush while I’m sitting and not to play with the toilet paper 🙃

We do an hour of screen time a day. 30 minutes while i cook breakfast, 30 minutes after nap time for me to complete anything. That second screen period i use to sit in the bathroom for a few minutes

I feel you! There’s nothing quite as humbling as my two year old asking to see the toilet bowl after I’ve gone. That said, books in the bathroom about going potty have helped both with him using the toilet and with understanding the process in general. So he better respects the order of using the toilet, then toilet paper, then flushing. The alone part…. 🫠🤷🏽♀️ not so much

Only if a sibling or his dad can distract him. Otherwise, he'll scream to be with me.

We put a baby gate on the bathroom door 😂 for a few weeks we did have to leave the door open but I think my 2 yo has gotten used to not going in there anymore, that we now can fully close the door without him crying lol
