So my 17 month old loves the bath but hates washing her hair and has a melt down every time and is honestly dangerous to herself ( standing up, crying, has slipped several times because she’s not sitting and is all soapy) (also a new fear and is making bath time impossible.)
If anyone has delt with this situation before how did you combat it. And any ideas would be appreciated (:

What I would probably do is wash her hair separately—like at another time, maybe in the sink. You could even make it fun, like playing “hair salon,” where she washes your hair and then you wash hers. I feel like that might make the whole situation a lot easier.

You could try bathing with her and wash your hair first, she might be more susceptible to doing it after seeing you do it!

Do you have one of those bath chairs she could sit in? I got my son a little seat for bath time and it helps with him staying still. Granted hair washing might be less annoying as a boy than a girl.

Would swimming goggles help?
