I was wondering if anyone has flew with a low lying placenta?
I’ve not had any bleeding or complications but I’m now concerned they won’t allow me to fly.
I see my midwife at 27+2 but we fly when I’m 29+2
Just looking for any advice or anyone who has been in a similar position

How low lying is it? I had a low lying placenta diagnosed at 20 weeks, was told that it either moves up or I would of had to of had a c section, with a scan booked at 32 weeks to check if it had moved. I was never told about not being able to fly, or that it was any concern, I did have a bleed at 31 weeks, which they could never tell me what caused it but I think it was due to my placenta moving up! Because at my 32 week scan it had moved. But I was never told I couldn’t do anything, until I had my bleed which was when I was put on bed rest for a week until my scan so they could see what was going on! But still have no reason for why that happened! But went onto to have an induction and normal vagunal birth at 39 weeks :)

I had to go back at 22 weeks as they needed to get the heart measurements so checked placenta again and they couldn’t get the measurements of the placenta as they were struggling to see it. So I don’t actually know how low it is. But I’m the same I’ve not been told I can or can’t do anything which is annoying but I also will lose all of the money for the holiday if I have to cancel last minute
