I shower at night when the kids are in bed or after dinner when my husband will be home. On occasion I do shower in the day, at nap time. When they were younger and I wanted to shower during wake times I’d just take them in the bathroom with me x

Yes. In the cot with her fave toys / books and I take the monitor with me to the bathroom.

I’m just living a wildly different life to most mums I think.
I’m trapped in the bedroom with him from 7.30pm in the dark being as quiet as possible. Sometimes I can leave for a bit. But definitely couldn’t shower it would just wake him.
And I could never leave him in a cot (I don’t even have one) but do have a travel cot. He would just shout and shout at being so restricted.
Nap times I’m trapped. I can’t believe some mums actually have the freedom to shower during a nap time. I can’t move lol

Shower every night before bedtime, he is asleep by this point and my partner is on monitor juty💆🏼‍♀️

I'll often take her in the shower with me and we both have a wash if my husband isn't home to watch her whilst I shower. I used to be able to leave her in the playpen but she wouldn't be chill enough to do that anymore

I shower in the morning as that’s when he seems most ‘happy’ to not be stuck to me. Even then it’s a quite wash and go. With my first when he was older I would put him in the bouncer in the bathroom so he could see me and me him.

Are we talking about 1 year olds here? Why do I get the impression your babies were born in Feb 2026? 😅

I shower when my husbands home to take baby or I bring him in the shower with me. I take an empty tray in and put bubble bath in it and a couple of bath toys for him to splash about x

I shower in the evening when he's asleep. But did wonder about having him in the shower with me on the floor but the soap suds/shampoo would surely go over him? Mine is a Feb 2025 baby.
