I had my second son 1 year ago and my first son 10 years ago. I think a lot about having a 3rd baby, I had an anterior placenta with both and never felt any movements and was induced twice. First birth was natural but my son came out blue and not breathing and went to nicu, 2nd some emergency c section due to placental abruption ended up in nicu due to breathing problems. I don’t know if I want another baby so I can try and have the water birth I always wanted and not be induced (I know that isn’t guaranteed) how do I decide whether I do want another one?

Do you want another child for other reasons besides wanting to try to have a different birth experience? Not saying that’s a bad reason, cuz most of us have probably had those hopes/goals/reasons with babies but this is something I ask myself about potentially having one more-do you truly want another child or just to experience pregnancy/birth/baby stage again? I still don’t honestly know for sure. (I have 3 now.) so that is what I think you should reflect on. Cuz like you say, the water birth you’re hoping for is definitely not guaranteed. And that child is going to around forever, and you’re definitely responsible for the next 18 years haha!
