Im in desperate need of help, my newborn is still currently under my insurance while I try to apply for hers. How can I can apply for medical for her?
Also, I needed for her to get checked today by a pediatrician but it’s been a mess. My primary doctor for myself doesn’t do newborn check up’s and I tried calling my insurance to see if they can find me a pediatrician office that’ll take my insurance for my daughter so they can look at her. They found me 3 offices, 2 offices didn’t answer and one told me that they couldn’t take her because they are not the primary doctor for myself. So idk what to do

Also, a newborn has 30 days coverage under the mom’s plan since the day he/she was born.
So if you have LA Medical, call any pediatrician or urgent care around you that accepts your insurance and just go there.
