Appointment
I found out I was pregnant 2 weeks ago and have had to wait 4 weeks for my first appointment (which is in 2 weeks time). Has anyone else waited that long and how did you deal with the impatience - i really want to see my baby haha

Normal- booking appts tend to happen around 8-10 weeks, not much point in offering them before that time, but before 10 is important for the bloods they’ll take.
Then usually just a bit more waiting until your first scan!
Even at 4 weeks there is nothing to see! They baby is so tiny at that point, hence why your first scan is normally around the 12 weeks mark :) it’s hard to wait but not much you can do about it sadly 😂 nice to have the scans to look forward to though 😁
I found out 1 week ago and my booking appointment isnt until the 13th 🙈 so hard to wait, my mum lives in Ireland so ive book a private scan on the 15th so I can announce to her with a scan photo at my first NHS scan probably wont be until 4 weeks after that, waiting is horrible ive become a serial testers 🤣🤣🤣
