Anyone else currently dealing with pet aversion after pregnancy?
I had the same issue with my cats when I had my first, but now dealing with it again after having my second.
I love them to bits (3 cats, 2 aged 7 and 1 aged 2) but I can't stand them being near me at times. We currently live in a new built estate with some houses still being built so as you can imagine there is mud and dust everywhere constantly but as our cats are allowed outdoors they bring the dirt in all the time which I can't stand. They are fluffy cats and as it's spring time they are losing their winter coat so fluff is everywhere too. I can't keep on top of cleaning as it is. One of my cats loves our toddler but I just can't stand the cat being anywhere near me so I have to shoo her away every time. I know the feeling will pass but I feel so guilty not being able to give them the attention they need. Soon as my toddler and baby are down for the night the cats try and be all over me which I have to stand up and walk away I just need a break sometimes.

I feel all of those. My dogs are they most overstimulating, tiring part of parenting for me.
This aversion isnt studied enough!
