My SIL wants our daughter to be flower girl, but I'm due to give birth the same week as her wedding day. So now I don't even know if I'll make it to the wedding, but I still RSVP'd because my husband can't miss it as her brother and I don't want to plan to miss it either, unless I really have to. I haven't heard much from her though about it since she asked and I'm wondering should I offer to get the flower girl dress or is this usually taken care of by them?

It really depends, when I got married, I bought all the flower girls and page boy outfits because I didn't want to people to be out of money for being in my bridal party. Friends however chose to help out by being their own Bridesmaid and groomsmen outfits.
Essential we paid for everything involving kids and adults in the wedding party paid for their own things

It all depends on country and tradition. In the UK, it’s usually tradition for the bride and groom to pay for the bridal parties outfits. But in the US, it’s usually the individual person responsible for buying their own outfits.
You’re best to just ask.

You shouldn’t even be giving this your headspace! Hubby should be RSVPing etc - let him figure it out (it 100% should be the bride but let them manage). Your bringing life into the world
