Jabs

My baby is a bit poorly, no temperature but snotty and has a cough. Caught it from his big brother 🙃

He has his second lot of jabs tomorrow, the NHS website says it’s fine to have if they have a cold but just wondering if I should postpone. Anyone had similar?

I have had to postpone mine as my little one is exactly the same. Cough, cold, wheezy but ok in himself, wet nappies, drinking all of his milk. My GP practice advised not to as the jabs may make him worse.

I had to rebook with my baby. They said any sign of a cold they can’t do it. Xx

My little one had early stages of a cold and we were advised to go ahead so long as he didn’t have a temperature.

I postponed mine last week just to be safe, my girl was congested and was coughing and sneezing a lot with no temperature, I just thought if she already wasn’t feeling her best I didn’t want to take her for her jabs and add more on top of what she was already feeling 🙂 I hope your little one feels better soon 🫶🏻 x

Has anyone else ever seen this ad before??

I am honestly shocked that I keep seeing this ad on Pinterest for such a dangerous product. I've reported it several times, even emailing Pinterest support directly.
I've had them remove my pins and threaten to take down my account over the dumbest stuff yet things that put babies at risk is fine? I was just thinking that maybe if a lot of people report it it will actually make a difference? I'll put the link in the comments, please report it if you have the time.

Big bed

Did anyone put their little ones into a Montessori bed or toddler bed early? I’m due my second baby in September and I love our cot and would love to get more use out of it. But my daughter will only be 17 months when baby arrives.

I was thinking of using the cot for the baby/going in the babies room and then getting my girl a Montessori bed but before baby arrives to avoid too many transitions at once.

Wondered if anyone has done the same and it didn’t ruin their sleep ect?

Help. It’s 10:21 pm and I want to give up. I don’t enjoy being a mom.

My 6 week old baby girl has been crying nonstop today, and nothing seems to soothe her. She’s been really gassy, and we think she might have reflux since she’s also been spitting up frequently. She only wants to stay on the breast as well . Shes been feeding for almost an hour, and every time I try to unlatch her, she starts crying again. Has anyone experienced this or know what might be going on? What can I do to help her ? Am I supposed to just let her suck on my breast for the whole night ? I love my baby so much but I’m so frustrated and wish my baby would stop crying.

What age did you stop breastfeeding?

So I love my breastfeeding journey and I’m not trying to stop anytime soon. My youngest just turned 1. Does anyone have any positive stories to share about their journey and how you dealt with things like biting, dips in supply, or self-weaning?
