So I’ve been on and off MJ for a while now and so far any side effects have been minimal if none existent. So all good.
However I’m starting the step up again from 2.5mg to 5mg and this time round my experience has been totally different.
I still think about food all the time. The food noise is still strong. I still feel hungry but the moment I have to decide what to eat I’ve no idea what I want to eat/cook. I just walk around the super markets not knowing what I’m going to buy. Also I eat very healthy but the moment I eat the slightest bit of sugar (e.g a biscuit 🍪) I feel so sick, where before I used to get away with the odd sweet treat. It’s like morning sickness vibes for hours after. I can’t even stomach a hot chocolate.
I’ve even checked that I’m not pregnant because it reminded me so much of that time.
So yeah I’m really frustrated if nothing else which has never happened before when I’ve been on MJ.
I am still loosing weight gradually but this time I don’t think I’ll be able to carry on it’s never really affected me in this way before.
Has anyone else experienced similar?

MJ didn’t give me much side affects, I’m on 7.5 but every time I have had a cheeky pizza I’ve had diarrhoea the whole day after like constant, it’s happened a few times now since starting so I think there’s certain foods certain people just can’t stomach whilst being on MJ.
If your suppression isn’t that great, maybe it’s time to go upto 7.5? Or jab every 5 days instead of 7 days, I do that when my suppression is wearing off
I understand the pizza thing, anything greasy used to effect me that way. But this is like one tiny shortbread biscuit or a small rice crispy bun and I feel like I’m gonna vom or have diarrhoea. It’s only with sweet stuff. Thankfully I never am sick but just the feeling is really annoying me. I got up to 7.5 last time so yeah perhaps my body just needs the bigger dose now.

Are you on maintenance now or restarting? Maybe you’re right, your body is just used to the 5mg so you probably might be good on the 7.5 again
Also, maybe it’s a good thing you react to sweet stuff in a negative way, will help you to stay away from it coz people like me struggle with cutting our sugary things 😩
