I’m 35+5 currently and since around Tuesday this week I have suddenly got so much pressure on the bottom half of my bump! At my 34 week midwife appointment she did say baby is head down (4/5 engaged) so I’m assuming this additional pressure increase is baby moving down further? I’m just sooo uncomfortable when walking now or when I lay/sit in certain positions lol. I just don’t think I was expecting it to be this bad!
Anyone else at this very uncomfortable stage? 😂🥲

Yes I feel your pain well pressure

Exactly in the same boat (pressure) as you 😅.. not sure if it's any indication this can mean going into labour earlier than 40w; MW nothing of that sort

Im 35 weeks today and have been this way since I turned 34 weeks. I can barely walk or stand now and no position im in is comfy 😭 so frustrating!
I have a 5 year old girl and 10 month old boy. It took years to feel ready to have baby number 2 and now just 10 months on I feel desperate for another. We’d always planned to have 2 so I’m not sure where this feeling is coming from but it’s not going away! Has anyone had the same before? Did you go for number 3 or not in the end and any regrets either way? I’m in my mid thirties now so time is a consideration, and of course a third baby is in no way guaranteed, we feel so incredibly lucky to have our two babies, particularly as we battled some serious health issues in the process. Thanks for any thoughts 😊

I definitely failed my 2 hour glucose test on Tuesday this week, with numbers out of range on both my fasting and 1 hour blood draw. I may be rushing my doctor, but I messaged and called because I am going overseas in less than a week and need to know if I need to, say pick up supplies or be medicated. Is it normal for no one to reach out after a failed glucose test, or respond at all?

Hi everyone. I had my 28 week appt today, my bp was 126/76, midwife wasn’t concerned but I searched it and says it’s slightly elevated 😭

Just a positive post to say that there is light at the end of the tunnel for those of you with babies going through the witching hours! My baby boy is now almost 8 weeks old, from around 3 weeks he was inconsolable for a couple of hours anywhere between 5pm and 9pm, but the past three nights has been so much better!
It is a haaaaarrrrdddd phase though! If you are going through it, what helped me was holding him securely while bouncing on my birthing ball and singing slowed down versions of my fave pop songs (twinkle twinkle got old v fast!) and then tapping in and out with my husband when it got too much.
Hoping I've not jinxed it with this post 😅

I am 38+2 today.
Went for a growth scan and baby has put on a nice 1lb since 2 weeks ago...
Sonographer said baby is ready to arrive any day now. I'm getting so impatient...LOL.
Now, today I have started having really bad wisdom tooth pain and also have gained a coldsore (even though I'm on meds to prevent the herpes virus)...
My back hurts, unable to get comfortable and been feeling extremely sick all day.
Do you think this is my body's way of saying we're getting ready?
I am planning on a natural vaginal birth with no intervention and at the local midwife centre with a pool. I have been told I can still do this!
I am totally ready now!
