So since I’ve been taking my prenatal my belly hasn’t been doing well. Like I get so sick from it. I don’t get nauseous i literally cannot throw up but I have other issues with my prenatal and I get so bloated from it. Would it be terrible if I just stopped taking my prenatal? I’m 22 weeks almost 23. Or does anyone have a good recommendation?

There's so many options, try a different brand.

I’m going to be so honest….. my prenatals mixed with my hg was HORRIBLE. Soooo… I really haven’t taken them since like 12 weeks maybe…,, please other moms don’t come after me😭 but my baby is doing wonderful and growing perfectly!

I got sick at one point around like 12 weeks and threw up all my prenatals and meds so I stopped taking then. A little bit later my husband and I got me some gummy prenatals and they are soooo much better

Try Ritual prenatals! They’re at target and they’re vegan, I was taking the nature made ones and they were messing with me but I’ve been doing great on the ritual ones

I’m 20 weeks and stopped taking them at 12 weeks because any brand, any form I threw up. I just eat my fruits and vegetables and my baby is fine. I had beat myself for so long but my doctor told me a lot of woman go through their entire pregnancy without taking it and end up with healthy babies. It’s ok just get the vitamins through other foods

I actually can’t take any prenatals because of the iodine in them. I have only been taking Folic acid with vit C+D and omega3 on days my tummy can tolerate it. I’ve had such bad constipation and I have a very bad IBS, I can barely eat anything. I used to take Choline supplements too but they hurt my tummy too much and so I take them only sometimes and eat 2 eggs a day. That’s all I really take, but I do try to eat a balanced diet, with calcium rich foods in the morning, iron afternoons, etc… even if my stomach suffers!

i used to get prenatals that specifically said they were gentle on the tummy, definitely try a different one. i will say though i personally didn’t take mine in the third trimester. i knew i should have but they’re expensive and i couldn’t afford them so i just really focused on making sure i was eating enough and a well rounded diet.

Maybe too high iron % on those prenatal. My bestie would get super sick from certain prenatals with higher % of iron

The Standard American Diet leaves a lot to be desired in terms of nutrition, find another brand and try it so you aren't having the pregnancy affect your health if baby starts over stripping your body of nutrients they need. Nevermind DHA/EPA are necessary for healthy development and preventing preterm labor. Unless you're eating 2-3 servings of low mercury, fatty fish, you really need to find a prenatal you can handle for your pregnancy sake.
You can go as expensive or cheap as you want. I've used Garden of Life and Ritual. I've also used CVS gummies. Do what you can it's better than nothing.

You can try different ones out or you can stop taking them & try to get those nutrients into your diet. The most important time for prenatals is the first couple months if I’m not mistaken. People literally do crack while pregnant so I wouldn’t go broke or insane trying to find a prenatal that many women don’t take and just won’t admit to. Maybe an unpopular opinion but oh well.

Definitely figure out a way to take. It’s important!

Girl. Don’t listen to what all of us are saying. Listen to your doctor and your body. These other women do nothing but hate and judge on everyone else. Real pos’s

I really like the olly brand prenatals regular (not gummies)! They smell like mint and have some ginger extract and they’re the only brand that doesn’t make me feel yucky
I have a 5 year old girl and 10 month old boy. It took years to feel ready to have baby number 2 and now just 10 months on I feel desperate for another. We’d always planned to have 2 so I’m not sure where this feeling is coming from but it’s not going away! Has anyone had the same before? Did you go for number 3 or not in the end and any regrets either way? I’m in my mid thirties now so time is a consideration, and of course a third baby is in no way guaranteed, we feel so incredibly lucky to have our two babies, particularly as we battled some serious health issues in the process. Thanks for any thoughts 😊

I definitely failed my 2 hour glucose test on Tuesday this week, with numbers out of range on both my fasting and 1 hour blood draw. I may be rushing my doctor, but I messaged and called because I am going overseas in less than a week and need to know if I need to, say pick up supplies or be medicated. Is it normal for no one to reach out after a failed glucose test, or respond at all?

Hi everyone. I had my 28 week appt today, my bp was 126/76, midwife wasn’t concerned but I searched it and says it’s slightly elevated 😭

Just a positive post to say that there is light at the end of the tunnel for those of you with babies going through the witching hours! My baby boy is now almost 8 weeks old, from around 3 weeks he was inconsolable for a couple of hours anywhere between 5pm and 9pm, but the past three nights has been so much better!
It is a haaaaarrrrdddd phase though! If you are going through it, what helped me was holding him securely while bouncing on my birthing ball and singing slowed down versions of my fave pop songs (twinkle twinkle got old v fast!) and then tapping in and out with my husband when it got too much.
Hoping I've not jinxed it with this post 😅

I am 38+2 today.
Went for a growth scan and baby has put on a nice 1lb since 2 weeks ago...
Sonographer said baby is ready to arrive any day now. I'm getting so impatient...LOL.
Now, today I have started having really bad wisdom tooth pain and also have gained a coldsore (even though I'm on meds to prevent the herpes virus)...
My back hurts, unable to get comfortable and been feeling extremely sick all day.
Do you think this is my body's way of saying we're getting ready?
I am planning on a natural vaginal birth with no intervention and at the local midwife centre with a pool. I have been told I can still do this!
I am totally ready now!
