Is anyone still having 4 or 5 bottles in 24 hrs?

We are trying to drop, but it is a slow process!

We’re onto 2 bottles now, 1 at 10.30am and 1 at bedtime. Just slowly dropped each one

Yes we are! Especially as she’s teething so badly so she is having a night feed. We still offer three meals and a snack though. All babies take different times is what I’m telling myself! She has three bottles in the day but still one at night, which I know maybe we technically “shouldn’t” but it’s what she needs at the minute! Last night she had another 2oz at 4am as after her calpol she needed a bit to settle while it kicked in and I’m not worrying too much about it! She only turned 10 months on Sunday so we will get there!

We're on 6 6oz bottles 😭 3 of those are overnight 🙃 worst bit is that he's a massive eater of solids, so it's not like we can even up his food intake to try and reduce milk feeds!

No kissing

Those of you who didn't let anyone kiss your babies, when did you start to let them?

I've had a no kissing rule since my LG was born, which was fine at the start but there have been a few incidents lately where her grandparents have kissed her where we have had to say something. One of these incidents she ended up in hospital with bronchiolitis and the other grandparent suffers from cold sores so I'm uncomfortable with her ever kissing my LG if I'm honest.

I just want to protect her but my partner thinks there needs to be a cut off point where we say it's ok.

Co-Sleeping

I’m seeing alot of mums mentioning co-sleeping, at my hospital they had us sign a paper saying we wouldn’t and all the risks of it.

I’m just curious why there is so much negative on it when it seems it’s a positive in some cases I’ve read.

What time do you put your baby to bed?

My baby is 6 months and her bedtime is 5:30-6pm whenever I look online it says this is too early but she gets so tired and cranky and wakes up early if it’s any later. Would love know what time is everyone else’s bedtime?

HELP

Mums I’m loosing my mind!!! My daughter is 3 months old in a few days and we’ve had a lot of ups and downs with her feeding. She is formula fed only. She was having the symptoms minus rash for CMPA / Reflux and the DR is trialing her on Aptamil Pepti she’s been on this now for 2 weeks. We were doing really well on it. She wasn’t fussing at the bottle anymore and her stomach wasn’t making noises, no more congestion etc etc.

But the past few days it’s started again, she’s fussing at it instantly, she wants it but she doesn’t, I can hear her taking air in because she’s crying at it, I can hear her stomach again. She is sounding wheezy again. I’ve just spent a good 45 minutes giving her her bedtime bottle and it was the worst it’s been! Why?!?! Wanting the bottle, but crying. Sometimes it’s like she can’t take a breath or she doesn’t know how to breathe properly while drinking it. She has the slow flow teats as the formula is watery consistency so I felt like the number 2 teats were choking her.

I’m at my wits end with it I am getting so frustrated with it because I don’t know why!!!!!!

Please can someone guide me in the right direction as to what is going on because I I just want to cry!!!!!
