Barking Cough
My baby started yesterday coughing, he's 4 months old and I havent taken him to his ped bc he has an appt tomorrow and I know we cant give them anything at that age. I started using Saline mist and Tylenol bc he had a low fever lastnight.
Is there any good remedies anyone has used at home to help? I'm paranoid about him getting worse bc I had a nephew who got sick at 2 months and ended up in the NICU.

Well it depends on if your son has pre-existing breathing conditions like asthma because the likelihood of going to the hospital is much higher. However most cases of croup are mild and can be managed with a humidifier at home.
Please keep an eye on your son. My son was 13 months when he had a barking cough. Escalated very quickly and we had to go to A&E. Croup is a lot worse at night so close eyes x
