Weaning mess

When does weaning get less messy? I don’t mind the high chair / floor etc. But I feel like I’m constantly sink bathing my baby after every meal & changing before so he has an old vest on that’s already stained.

I tried the bibs that cover their arms but food still managed to get underneath! My baby hated them too, would be so uncomfortable.

Same with the silicone bibs that catch food, just tires to chew on them so there a no go
🤣 Will it be like this forever?😂

What age is baby? I find once they get better with hand to mouth coordination, it gets a bit less messy! My 16 month old still messes the floor and high chair and herself, but definitely not as much as when she was younger. But my 4 year old is more likely to spill food down himself rather than the floor😂

I fed my daughter in just her diaper when she was really little and made a huge mess. Now at 17 months she barely makes any mess at all, unless she decides to throw her food on the floor. It was sometime after a year old that she stopped making such a big mess, but she gradually got better over time

2024 mamas…

how are our babies almost 2
and some already 2…

it feels like we just met them
just held them for the first time

like we just brought them home
still learning their cries
still memorizing their little face

and now they’re running
talking
becoming their own little person

how did we go
from counting kicks
to chasing toddlers

i swear…
i blinked

and time didn’t just move
it ran

Any good baby bouncer recommendations?

I use the snuggle me but the baby is now 2.5 months and it's too small for him.
What can I use as an alternative?
For naps during the day or soothing?

Your MIL walks in two hours after you gave birth & the first thing & only thing she says to you is”you look so swollen & tired”

Is this offensive, rude or hurtful? I gave birth over two years ago & still can’t get over how she made me feel invisible after I gave birth! She complemented my husband multiple times & took pictures of him & our baby alone. Praised him for doing such a good job at being a new daddy. My husband brought this up to them & they said they didn’t mean to be hurtful & moved on. I’m just wondering how other moms would take this..

Naps

My little girl is 5 months old tomorrow and I have read that they only meant to have so many hours of daytime sleep but I kinda wanna hear people’s thoughts on capping naps or letting them sleep as and when they want to and for how long they want to?

The last nap before bed I completely understand capping that and not letting their last nap go past a certain time to protect the nighttime but I kinda feel like if she’s sleeping during the day however long she wants to even if it’s 2 hours at a time it’s because she wants the rest?

Is it normal?

I've just had my second baby, he is 10 days old. Bit of a rough start but we are all good. My daughter is 18months old and I am consciously making sure she is included and not left out etc. However I am breastfeeding and find it difficult to giver her the attention especially when he is cluster feeding. I also get overcome with anxiety for night time, as I don't know what kind of night I'm in for. Some nights have been good others have been awake all night cluster feeding which I know is normal but it makes me feel really on edge and I'm trying my hardest to relax and enjoy these moments. But is it normal to feel anxious as night time approaches?

Sex PP

Alright so I had sex 6 weeks and 2 days PP. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed it but it was different. I felt a little pressure as if I was tighter, which my OB said is normal & will take time to “get back to normal”. What was anyone else experience like? When does it feel “normal” again?
