Found out at my appointment that I’m 1cm dilated

I Went to the clinic today and my doctor said I’m 1cm dilated and she sent me home to come bk in a week for another check up i am currently 38 weeks pregnant and i just cant wait to have my baby but the doctors wont induce and they wont give me a membrane sweep so what can i do to try and get things moving along? Any advice??
