Scared about dangerous side effects from MMR - did you and/or your baby have problems with it?

I had a really bad reaction from it when I was 1 and I’m nervous about giving it to my baby because of that. Then again that was 27 years ago so I’m wondering if it was just that time. Did you have a bad reaction? Did your baby?

I did not. And neither did either of my children. I think you missed that for one of the options.

Do you know if your family has any hereditary immunodeficiencies? You can do genetic testing prior to confirm if you’re worried about your child having a similar reaction.

Our pediatrician recommended against MMR for our son (almost all the vaccines actually), due to similar history/existing conditions.

Anxiety about my bump

I’m 23 weeks pregnant and I’ve been starting to worry a little about my bump and movement. I do feel the baby move, but sometimes it feels like there’s not much movement for a while and then it picks back up again. I’m also not sure if my bump looks as big as it “should” for this stage, which has me overthinking everything.

I’m a first-time mom, so honestly I don’t really know what’s normal and what’s not yet. I’m trying not to stress myself out, but it’s hard not to when you just want to make sure everything is okay.

For moms who’ve already had kids, was this normal for you around 23 weeks? Did movement come and go? And did you ever worry about your bump size? I’d really appreciate any advice or reassurance 🤍
