Bath time

Does anyone’s little ones hate having a bath?? Literally screaming from the moment their toes feel the water?

We have twin boys and one loves the bath and the other screams the house down until he’s out 😮‍💨

We tried today giving him a mini solo stand alone bath in case it was being in the bath that freaked him out and he still hated it.

For reference we have got a twin bath seat, solo angel bath seats and also a mini portable one. Each time we are using muslins to keep him warm. Water is at correct temp.

At a loss… 😭

my son is 4 months and only started liking the bath, he would scream the house down everytime, we tried everything as well, but one time we gave him a bottle before his bath, and honestly it worked a treat! it just chilled him out, and now we don't give him a bottle before bath because he seen it's actually fun. i know the stress you're going though but he will like it eventually 😁 i know all babies are different but this literally helped me out. good luck 🤞 x

Nursery help!

11 m baby boy did great in his settling in sessions. Only cried when I picked him up. But since starting properly this week it's been a nightmare. He's waking up earlier so a long wake before first nap , having 30 mins naps there so he's exhausted when we pick him up. They said he's crying and upset most the day, they cant put him down. I picked him up early today because he's so exhausted he's struggling.
I feel so so awful that he's struggling.
Does anyone have any tips or just reassurance that it will get better?

Struggling to go out with baby

Hi! Ftm to a 3.5 month old and tbh haven’t really gone out of the house with baby except with my husband. I get really bad anxiety and the thought of going out alone with baby is so hard to handle.

I’m also embarrassed that I don’t even know how to use our stroller/car seat. I’ve tried practicing putting baby in and out of car seat and into car but I’m scared if I don’t know what to do if I can’t handle it by myself when I go out. Also haven’t met any mom friends.

And also wake windows? Naps? How do I deal with all this when going out? I just feel so lost and alone in this. Any advice or comments to know I’m not alone.

Baby mostly sleeps during the day

Is that normal for my 5weeks old to sleep most of the day? He basically stays up maybe for 30’ then he wants to sleep again. He fusses and wants to feed to sleep. We do very little , no tummy time.
What’s your baby doing?

Baby routines

My baby is 14 weeks old and still in no routine as such. He typically goes to bed at 8.30-9pm and we have a wind down routine from 7pm. But he wakes up at different times and has never slept through. He doesn’t nap at the same time each day and everything is very much baby led. I read about people who have routines and their baby sleeps though.
What’s your experience? I feel like I’m quite a disorganised person and feel bad if it’s on me not being more structured!
