or plus sized pregnancy ♡ I’m plus sized and I’m not really stressing about the weight gain, I see a lot of other pregnant women obsessing about not gaining any weight during pregnancy. Some of them say they have lost weight and my midwife says she doesnt want me to lose ANYTHING. Thoughts? She emphasized it so much that there should be no weight lost during pregnancy so I’m confused that other women are losing weight?

It's okay don't stress about it every single woman is different. As long as you eat healthy for the baby you should be okay you're going to gain what you need to gain just eat healthy and don't stress about it

My first pregnancy (I'm overweight) I lost 18lbs due to morning sickness (all day in my case) because I was overweight they weren't worried at all because my son got nutrients from my fat stores. I went on to gain 40lbs the rest of the pregnancy 🥴. This pregnancy I lost 7lb first trimester and now in total have gained 25lbs

I weighed 245 before pregnancy and 283 went i got to the hospital. When leaving the hospital I weighed 293 due to how much fluids they gave me. Within a week after having him I was 263. I definitely thought I would have gained more but truly only gained all baby. But, everyone really is different so you never know.

Yea i didnt gain…. I was 5 lbs less than my starting weight of the pregnancy by birth. I think i lost and gain at the same time if that made sense . The weight of baby, placenta, fluid retention, extra blood made is about 30lbs. So i think i lost weight and gained that type of weight which basically made things even if that makes sense. I walked alot and ate healthy for baby. I also had gestational diabetes so i had to really be careful too.
