Baby gas

Anyone else dealing with infant gas? My baby is 1 month old and grunts a lot and becomes restless. I tried probiotic and gripe water. It seems to work, but not sure how often can I use it. Any other recommendations?

That’s crazy this just popped up on my notifications just now . My daughter is only about 2 weeks old and she and I are going through the gas issue . I was breast feeding but decided to chill on it to get my sanity right and put her on alimentum similac the dark purple one ready to go cause that’s all they had at giant & seven been going through it a little . Gripe water on deck but you can tell she has it . She has disturbed sleep

Mylicon also works wonders! You can use it every 2 hours and 12 times a day. We also do bicycle kicks and apply some light pressure to the tummy area when baby boy has gas

Uhh I just use gripe water and bicycle leg circles and lay her in my chest and she seems to be comfortable on her belly

We do lots of bike legs and then pushing on the belly in a clockwise circle helps. Make sure to burp frequently during feedings. We also do gas drops daily which our ped recommended. It makes the gas bubbles smaller and easier to pass. If she still can’t pass it try fridi windi.

The only thing that has worked for us is bicycles (I bend his knees and gently press them into his lower abdomen) and tummy massages (gently pressing on the tummy and circling in a clockwise motion). Also Bliss has a simethicone medicine that helps. Good luck!

When can I start the meds - Milecon or Smithecone?Melissa, which gas drops are you referring to?

I’m currently using gripe water by mommy bliss for my one month old and you can use that up to 12x a day

It tells you the limit per day on the packaging

Yes - my 3 month old is a poot machine. My Lil stinky butt… we do leg exercises and let he rip 😝. We use gripe water as well.

Struggling to go out with baby

Hi! Ftm to a 3.5 month old and tbh haven’t really gone out of the house with baby except with my husband. I get really bad anxiety and the thought of going out alone with baby is so hard to handle.

I’m also embarrassed that I don’t even know how to use our stroller/car seat. I’ve tried practicing putting baby in and out of car seat and into car but I’m scared if I don’t know what to do if I can’t handle it by myself when I go out. Also haven’t met any mom friends.

And also wake windows? Naps? How do I deal with all this when going out? I just feel so lost and alone in this. Any advice or comments to know I’m not alone.

Baby routines

My baby is 14 weeks old and still in no routine as such. He typically goes to bed at 8.30-9pm and we have a wind down routine from 7pm. But he wakes up at different times and has never slept through. He doesn’t nap at the same time each day and everything is very much baby led. I read about people who have routines and their baby sleeps though.
What’s your experience? I feel like I’m quite a disorganised person and feel bad if it’s on me not being more structured!

Screaming while burping

Does anyone else’s 13 week old scream the place down like you’re murdering them the second you take the bottle out of their mouth to burp them?

Mam bottles sterilising

Hiya silly question…are we meant to clean the condensation from the mam bottles after self sterilising in the microwave?

Or do we assemble and put milk in as they are?
