Did you have a sweep and if so when did labour start?

Following as I've got a sweep booked for next week
I had a sweep on the 14th at 4.30pm at my midwife appointment as I’d already been having incredibly mild contractions, and 2 hours later I was in active labour with my little boy born at 8.45 yesterday morning 😅
I think it really depends how ready your body is before the sweep. I had a few in my first labour and not sure they did anything (contractions already started but was stuck at 3cm to used them to try and shift things along).
My midwife tried to do one on me a couple of days ago but my cervix wasn’t far enough forwards yet, and I’m over 40w. So very body dependent I think 💚
