I found evidence of my husband cheating on me last week and we're currently separated but still living together due to finance. I saw inappropriate messages between him and different people up till the date of reckoning. We just had sex that day and one of his girlfriends was asking if he's coming over to her. Prior to that day , he's always outside. He either says he's got school or working overtime, I didn't know he was spending the time with other women while neglecting his family. It's difficult because I've got no support since my family's not here and I'm scared he can decide to leave the whole childcare to me. I currently work full time pay the house rent and water bills while paying off some loans while he pays for gas and electricity with council tax. I am reducing my working hours from September as I decided to return to uni and study full time while having time on my hands in case of childcare needs.
I have no friends here as I'm not originally from the UK but I have been here for more than 6 years. I feel so isolated but I know I'm in the right path as he's never fully supported me
Any advice is welcome.

Firstly I’d give you a hug if I could! Being cheated on is horrible & you just feel so betrayed by a person who is supposed to do right by you.
Men are typically incapable of being faithful in my opinion!
I was a single parent from my son being 1, it was a hard decision to make & it took a year of arguments and backlash from my ex and his family to finally be at peace. I don’t know your housing situation but if you can afford to stay there then do that. I applied for social housing & ended up with a brand new 2 bed house in a little village, my son & I lived there for 10 years and it was great. For me the co-parenting with his father was horrendous and I never felt in control of anything like he would let his new GF look after my son and not tell me . I’d say do things through the court if possible , that’s what I wish i did anyway.
I got help financially from tax credits and so will you unless you earn over like £30, 000 a year or something.
It will be hard having no family here

…can you rely on your husbands family?
I hope so as it’ll be very hard doing it all on your own as who knows how your husband will support?
